Disposals from capital work in progress during 2010 in the amount of HRK 13,446 thousand (2009: HRK 62,118
thousand) represent write-offs based on the estimate of management that no future economic benefits will be
derived from those assets.
Due to political developments in Croatia since 1990, certain local municipal land registers have not been fully
established. The company is in the process of registering, through the local courts in Croatia, its title to land and
buildings. To date, no claims have been made against the company concerning its title to these assets.
The Group has pledged property, plant and equipment having a carrying amount of approximately HRK 560,384
thousand (2009: HRK 693,376 thousand) to secure the banking facilities provided to TE Plomin d.o.o.
