HAMPTON COURT<br />

" Then went we and prepared ourselves to horseback,<br />

being Saint Andrew's Day the Apostle, and so<br />

took our journey to the court,... being at <strong>Hampton</strong><br />

<strong>Court</strong>, where the King and Council then lay, giving all<br />

our attendance upon them for our despatches. And<br />
