Light <strong>of</strong> Idovanus<br />
Duration 15, Magnitude 2, Progressive, Ranged<br />
Cult: Carmanos Law-Bringer<br />
The recipient <strong>of</strong> this spell begins to glow with a pure, inner<br />
light. While the spell is in effect, they shed light equal to<br />
daylight in a 10m radius around them. All members <strong>of</strong><br />
Darkness, Shadow or Chaos cults have a –10% penalty<br />
to all actions they take while within this light. The effect<br />
may be blocked by Countermagic, Shield, Resist Spell<br />
or similar magic. For every 2 points <strong>of</strong> Magnitude in<br />
this spell, the radius <strong>of</strong> effect increases by 10m and the<br />
penalty also increases by –10%.<br />
When cast upon a member <strong>of</strong> a Darkness, Shadow or<br />
Chaos cult, or a member <strong>of</strong> a Malkioni Church, the spell<br />
automatically fails.<br />
Living Blade<br />
Duration 15, Magnitude 4, Ranged<br />
Cult: Tskanth<br />
When the target is under the influence <strong>of</strong> this spell, he<br />
moves with lighting speed and has one additional Combat<br />
Action per round.<br />
Lock<br />
Duration 8 weeks, Magnitude 3, Touch<br />
Cult: Issaries<br />
This spell may be cast on a door, chest lid, bag opening<br />
or similar item. It cannot thereafter be opened by any<br />
physical means. Only Dispel Magic, Dismiss Magic,<br />
Neutralise Magic or similar spells can remove the Lock<br />
spell. A Passage spell can be used to bypass Lock but<br />
will not annul the Lock spell.<br />
Manifest Limbs<br />
Duration 15, Magnitude 1<br />
Cult: Draconic, Storm Dragon, Sun Dragon<br />
This spell requires the caster be in his wyrm form. It<br />
provides him with the use <strong>of</strong> hands and arms, as if he<br />
had hands – though no hands or limbs are present. These<br />
phantom limbs allow the caster to use any <strong>of</strong> his skills<br />
that require the use <strong>of</strong> hands. The arms have the strength<br />
<strong>of</strong> his human form unless the caster has undergone<br />
Draconic Transformation, at which point, the limbs use<br />
the strength <strong>of</strong> his wyrm form. The limbs do not change<br />
the caster’s hit locations, nor do they take damage or<br />
block blows.<br />
Mind-Read<br />
Concentration, Duration 15, Magnitude 2, Ranged, Resist<br />
(Persistence)<br />
Cult: Lankor Mhy<br />
This spell allows the caster to read the conscious thoughts<br />
<strong>of</strong> a target without his consent. The target <strong>of</strong> the spell<br />
knows that there is an intruder in his mind. The caster<br />
cannot read information that the target is not thinking<br />
about or has forgotten. It does not probe memories or<br />
knowledge.<br />
Mist Cloud<br />
Duration 15, Magnitude 1, Progressive, Ranged<br />
Cult: Heler<br />
This spell creates a natural looking cloud <strong>of</strong> mist 2m in<br />
diameter per point <strong>of</strong> Magnitude in the spell. Visibility<br />
through the mist is limited to a 1m radius. Wind disperses<br />
the mist rather than moves it.<br />
