Divine Spells<br />

Rain<br />

Duration 15, Magnitude 1, Progressive, Ranged<br />

Cult: Heler<br />

This spell can only be cast when the sky is at least half<br />

overcast. Rain will then fall within a 100-metre radius <strong>of</strong><br />

the caster. Each point <strong>of</strong> Magnitude increases the radius<br />

<strong>of</strong> effect by 100 metres. When the spell duration ends,<br />

the rain stops.<br />

Rally Troops<br />

Instant, Magnitude 2, Progressive, Ranged<br />

Cult: Urvairinus<br />

All members <strong>of</strong> the caster’s unit who are under his<br />

command and affected by the effects <strong>of</strong> Demoralise,<br />

Fear, Panic or other morale-influencing spell, who are<br />

within range gain an immediate Persistence test against<br />

whatever created the effect. However, they receive a<br />

bonus equal to +5% per point <strong>of</strong> Magnitude over the<br />

initial amount needed to cast the spell.<br />

This spell will also provide the same bonus to an <strong>of</strong>ficer<br />

using Influence or Command to rally his troops if the<br />

battle starts to go against them.<br />

Reconstruction<br />

Duration 15, Magnitude 3, Ranged<br />

Cult: Lankor Mhy<br />

This spell causes any 15 minute sequence from the past<br />

to replay for the caster’s senses, as long as he is in the<br />

immediate area in which the events took place, or is in<br />

Mindlink with someone who is. While the spell is in<br />

effect, the caster is in a trance state and no one else can<br />

sense what he does. The caster must state the time and<br />

date <strong>of</strong> starting the vision.<br />

Regal Aura<br />

Duration 15, Magnitude 2, Touch<br />

Cult: Ernalda<br />

The recipient <strong>of</strong> this spell gains a +25% bonus on all<br />

Influence tests for the duration <strong>of</strong> its effect.<br />

Remove Fear<br />

Instant, Magnitude 1, Ranged<br />

Cult: Erissa<br />

This spell removes the effect <strong>of</strong> any fear or panicinducing<br />

spell from the target. This includes the effects<br />

<strong>of</strong> the Demoralise, Fear and Panic spells or any creatures<br />

that might induce fear.<br />

Restore Sanity<br />

Instant, Magnitude 1, Touch<br />

Cult: Erissa<br />

This spell instantly removes the effects <strong>of</strong> any sanity or<br />

mind-destroying spells from the target. This includes the<br />

effects <strong>of</strong> Befuddle, Berserk, Madness and Mindblast<br />

spells.<br />

Restore Vision<br />

Instant, Magnitude 4, Touch<br />

Cult: Erissa<br />

This spell restores sight to any creature immediately,<br />

including the replacement <strong>of</strong> damaged or destroyed eyes.<br />

If the recipient is unable to see due to being engulfed in<br />

darkness or some other environmental effect, this spell<br />

has no effect.<br />

Safe<br />

Duration 8 weeks, Magnitude 2, Progressive, Resist<br />

(Dodge)<br />

Cult: Argan Argar<br />

This spell is cast upon a container or opening to bar<br />

unwanted passage. When someone other than the<br />

caster, or someone designated by him at the time <strong>of</strong><br />

casting, attempts to open the container or pass through<br />

the opening, he is attacked by the spell. The caster may<br />

choose to imbue the passageway or container with the<br />

following Rune Magic spells: Disruption, Dragon Breath,<br />

Frostbite, Multimissile or Skybolt. He must spend an<br />

additional number <strong>of</strong> Magic points up to the Rune Magic<br />

spell’s Magnitude and may overcharge it as normal (see<br />

page 66 <strong>of</strong> RuneQuest). Successfully passing the barrier<br />

destroys the spell.<br />

Sail Through Ice<br />

Duration 12 hours, Magnitude 1, Progressive, Ranged<br />

Cult: Yigg<br />

This spell must be cast upon a ship. While this spell is in<br />

effect, the ship gains an additional 2 Seaworthiness and
