Corporate social responsibility calls on Hydro as a company, but also on the behaviour of each and every one of us who works in Hydro. While this folder and Hydro’s social responsibility directive focuses on the company’s responsibilities, the Code of Conduct focuses on the responsibilities and the rights of each individual Hydro employee. The Complaints and Concerns Channel If you suspect unethical business conduct in relation to Hydro’s activities, and you cannot report it through your local organization, you can contact the head of Internal Audit Corporate directly. Anyone making a report through this channel will be treated with confidentiality and may, if desired, remain anonymous. No one in the company can criticize or penalize you for contacting the relevant function in Hydro about a breach of the law or the company’s guidelines made in good faith. If this should happen, you should contact your immediate superior, the head of IAC, or the other functions mentioned above, as soon as possible. You can post your concern at the Internal Audit’s intranet site, or you can email to ethics@hydro.com, or fax to + 47 22 53 28 27. You may report in your preferred language. 29
