THE PHOTOGRAPHERS
T
o illustrate this book, I have called upon some of the finest wedding photographers in the world. Most of
them have been honored repeatedly by the country’s top professional organizations, the Professional Photographers
of America (PPA) and Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI). I want to take
the opportunity to thank all of these great photographers for their participation in this book. Without them,
this book would not have been possible. While no book can equal years of wedding photography experience, it is my
hope that you will learn from these masters how the best wedding photography is created—with style, artistry, technical
excellence, and professionalism.
wedding photography business. He refers to his style of
wedding photography as “artistic photojournalism.”
Marcus Bell—Marcus Bell’s creative vision, natural
style, and sensitivity have made him one of Australia’s most
revered photographers. It is this talent, combined with his
natural ability to make people feel at ease in front of the
lens, that attracts so many of his clients. His work has been
published in Black White, Capture, Portfolio Bride, and
countless bridal magazines.
Joe Buissink—Joe Buissink is an internationally recognized
