Charles and Jennifer Maring—Charles and Jennifer<br />
own Maring <strong>Photography</strong> Inc. in Wallingford, CT. Charles<br />
is a second-generation photographer, his parents having operated<br />
a successful New-England studio for many years. His<br />
parents operate Rlab (www.resolution lab.com), a digital lab<br />
for discriminating photographers needing high-end digital<br />
work. Charles Maring is the winner <strong>of</strong> the 2001 WPPI<br />
Album <strong>of</strong> the Year Award.<br />
Cliff Mautner—After fifteen years as a photojournalist<br />
with the Philadelphia Inquirer, Cliff Mautner has experienced<br />
just about every situation a photographer could possibly<br />
encounter—from shooting in Liberia, to covering<br />
spelunking in Central Pennsylvania. Yet, he never dreamed<br />
that he would be enjoying wedding photography as much<br />
as he does. His images have been featured in Modern Bride,<br />
Elegant <strong>Wedding</strong>, <strong>The</strong> Knot, and various other wedding<br />
publications.<br />
Bruno Mayor—Bruno Mayor is third-generation<br />
French photographer living in Corsica. He is a member <strong>of</strong><br />
the French trade union <strong>of</strong> photographers, the GNPP<br />
(Groupement National des Photographes Pr<strong>of</strong>essionnels),<br />
and recently finished second overall in the French National<br />

Mercury Megaloudis—Mercury Megaloudis is the<br />
owner <strong>of</strong> Megagraphics <strong>Photography</strong> in Strathmore, Victoria,<br />
Australia. <strong>The</strong> Australian Institute <strong>of</strong> Pr<strong>of</strong>essional <strong>Photography</strong><br />
awarded him the Master <strong>of</strong> <strong>Photography</strong> degree in<br />
1999. He has won numerous awards in Australia and has<br />
recently begun winning competitions in the U.S. as well.<br />
Tom Muñoz—Tom Muñoz is a fourth-generation photographer<br />
whose studio is located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.<br />
Tom upholds the classic family traditions <strong>of</strong> posing, lighting,<br />
and composition, yet is 100% digital in the studio operation.<br />
He believes that the traditional techniques blend<br />
perfectly with exceptional quality <strong>of</strong> digital imaging.<br />
Melanie Nashan—Melanie Maganias Nashan, founder<br />
<strong>of</strong> Nashan Photographers, Inc. in Livingston, MT, specializes<br />
in weddings but also photographs portraits, commercial<br />
work, and architecture. Her striking images have been published<br />
in Martha Stewart <strong>Wedding</strong>s, <strong>The</strong> Knot, Bride’s, Modern<br />
Bride, and Sunset Magazine. In 2003, she was chosen as<br />
one <strong>of</strong> America’s top fifteen wedding photographers by<br />
Photo District News.<br />
Dennis Orchard—Dennis Orchard is an award-winning<br />
photographer from Great Britain. He has been a speaker<br />

and an award winner at WPPI conventions and print competitions.<br />
He is a member <strong>of</strong> the British Guild <strong>of</strong> portrait<br />
and wedding photographers. His unique lifestyle wedding<br />

Photographer <strong>of</strong> the Year, International <strong>Wedding</strong> Photojournalism<br />
Print <strong>of</strong> the Year, and WPPI’s highest honor,<br />

Parker Pfister—Parker Pfister, who shoots weddings locally<br />
in Hillsboro, OH, as well as in neighboring states, is<br />
quickly developing a national celebrity. He is passionate<br />
about what he does and can’t imagine doing anything else<br />
(although he also has a beautiful portfolio <strong>of</strong> fine-art nature<br />

Norman Phillips, AOPA—Norman Phillips has been<br />
awarded the WPPI Accolade <strong>of</strong> Outstanding Photographic<br />
Achievement (AOPA). He is a registered Master Photographer<br />
with Britain’s Master Photographers Association, a Fellow<br />
<strong>of</strong> the Society <strong>of</strong> <strong>Wedding</strong> & Portrait Photographers,<br />
and a Technical Fellow <strong>of</strong> Chicagoland Pr<strong>of</strong>essional Photographers<br />
Association. He is a frequent contributor to photographic<br />
publications and the author <strong>of</strong> numerous books<br />
including <strong>Wedding</strong> and Portrait Photographers’ Legal<br />
Handbook (Amherst Media, 2005).<br />
Joe Photo—Joe Photo is the rock star <strong>of</strong> the wedding<br />
photography world. His stunning wedding images have<br />
been featured in numerous books and magazines, as well as<br />
on NBC’s Life Moments, the Lifetime channel’s <strong>Wedding</strong>s <strong>of</strong><br />
a Lifetime, and Lifetime’s reality show My <strong>Best</strong> Friend’s<br />
<strong>Wedding</strong>.<br />
John Poppleton—Utah photographer John Poppleton<br />
delights in urban decay—lathe and plaster, peeling paint,<br />
and weathered wood. However, he also loves to create people<br />
photography—especially uniquely feminine portraiture.<br />
When the architecture <strong>of</strong> urban decay combines with elegant<br />
brides, the startling result is Poppleton’s unique style.<br />
Ray Prevost—Ray Prevost worked for almost thirty<br />
years as a medical technologist in the Modesto, CA, area.<br />
He was always interested in photography, but it wasn’t until<br />
his two daughters were in college that he decided to open<br />
up his studio full time. He received Certification from PPA<br />
in 1992, and his masters degree in 1996.<br />
Fran Reisner—Fran Reisner is a Brooks Institute graduate<br />
and has twice been named Dallas Photographer <strong>of</strong> the<br />
Year. She is a past president <strong>of</strong> the Dallas Pr<strong>of</strong>essional Photographers<br />
Association. She runs a successful portrait and<br />
