J.B. and DeEtte Sallee—J.B and DeEtte Sallee are a<br />

photographic team from Dallas, TX. <strong>The</strong>ir studio, Sallee<br />

<strong>Photography</strong>, has only been in business since August 2003,<br />

but both photographers have already earned numerous<br />

awards including Dallas Photographer <strong>of</strong> <strong>The</strong> Year, <strong>Wedding</strong><br />

Photographer <strong>of</strong> <strong>The</strong> Year, <strong>Best</strong> Album Designer <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>The</strong> Year, and <strong>Best</strong> Folio <strong>of</strong> <strong>The</strong> Year.<br />

Martin Schembri, M.Photog. AIPP—Martin Schembri<br />

has been winning national awards in his native Australia<br />

for twenty years. He has achieved a Double Master <strong>of</strong> <strong>Photography</strong><br />

with the Australian Institute <strong>of</strong> Pr<strong>of</strong>essional <strong>Photography</strong>.<br />

He is an internationally recognized portrait,<br />

wedding, and commercial photographer and has conducted<br />

seminars worldwide on his unique style <strong>of</strong> photography.<br />

Michael Schuhmann— Michael Schuhmann <strong>of</strong> Tampa<br />

Bay, FL, is a highly acclaimed wedding photojournalist who<br />

believes in creating weddings with the style and flair <strong>of</strong> the<br />

fashion and bridal magazines. He has been the subject <strong>of</strong><br />

pr<strong>of</strong>iles in Rangefinder and Studio <strong>Photography</strong> & Design.<br />

Ken Sklute—Beginning his wedding photography career<br />

at sixteen in Long Island, NY, Kenneth quickly advanced<br />

to shooting an average <strong>of</strong> 150 weddings a year.<br />

About ten years ago, he moved to Arizona, where he enjoys<br />

a thriving business. Kenneth is much decorated, having<br />

been named Long Island <strong>Wedding</strong> Photographer <strong>of</strong> the<br />

year fourteen times and PPA Photographer <strong>of</strong> the Year. In<br />

addition, he has earned numerous Fuji Masterpiece Awards<br />

and Kodak Gallery Awards.<br />

Natasha Staszak—Natasha originates from Sydney,<br />

Australia, but now lives on Long Island, NY. Her background<br />

includes a BA in visual communication, for which<br />

she majored in photography. Her studies brought her to the<br />

Rochester Institute <strong>of</strong> Technology, and the home <strong>of</strong> Kodak<br />

soon became her home when she met and later married her<br />

husband. Over the years, Natasha has developed a popular<br />

wedding photography business through word <strong>of</strong> mouth.<br />

Deanna Urs—Deanna Urs lives in Parker, CO, with her<br />

husband and children. She has turned her love and passion<br />

for the camera into a portrait business that has created a following<br />

<strong>of</strong> clientele nationally as well as internationally. She<br />

<strong>of</strong>ten works in her client’s environment to add a personal<br />

touch to her portraits.<br />

Marc Weisberg—A graduate <strong>of</strong> University <strong>of</strong><br />

California–Irvine with a degree in fine art and photogra-<br />

phy, Marc also attended the School <strong>of</strong> Visual Arts in New<br />

York City before relocating to Southern California in 1991.<br />

His interest in the culinary arts has led Marc to create numerous<br />

images for marketing and public relations campaigns<br />

as well as images featured in Wines and Spirits,<br />

Riviera, Orange Coast, and Where Los Angeles.<br />

David Anthony Williams (M.Photog. FRPS)—David<br />

Anthony Williams owns a wedding studio in Ashburton,<br />

Victoria, Australia. In 1992 he achieved the rare distinction<br />

<strong>of</strong> Associateship and Fellowship <strong>of</strong> the Royal Photographic<br />

Society <strong>of</strong> Great Britain on the same day. Through the annual<br />

Australian Pr<strong>of</strong>essional <strong>Photography</strong> Awards system,<br />

Williams achieved the level <strong>of</strong> Master <strong>of</strong> <strong>Photography</strong> with<br />

Gold Bar—the equivalent <strong>of</strong> a double master. In 2000, he<br />

was awarded the Accolade <strong>of</strong> Outstanding Photographic<br />

Achievement from WPPI, and has been a Grand Award<br />

winner at their annual conventions in both 1997 and 2000.<br />

David Worthington—In a recent book celebrating the<br />

best pr<strong>of</strong>essional photography the last fifty years, David was<br />

honored to have one <strong>of</strong> his images chosen—only fifty photographs<br />

were chosen from entries sent from around the<br />

world. Two <strong>of</strong> David’s most recent awards include the 2003<br />

Classical <strong>Wedding</strong> Photographer <strong>of</strong> the Year (UK, Northwest<br />

Region) and the 2003 Licentiate <strong>Wedding</strong> Photographer<br />

<strong>of</strong> the Year (UK, Northwest Region).<br />

Yervant Zanazanian, M. Photog. AIPP, F.AIPP—<br />

Yervant was born in Ethiopia, then lived and studied in<br />

Venice, Italy prior to settling in Australia. His passion for<br />

photography began at a very young age, when he worked<br />

after school and during school holidays at the photography<br />

business owned by his father, photographer to the Emperor<br />

Hailé Silassé <strong>of</strong> Ethiopia. Yervant owns a prestigious photography<br />

studio and services clients nationally and internationally.<br />

He has been named Australia’s <strong>Wedding</strong> Photographer<br />

<strong>of</strong> the Year three <strong>of</strong> the past four years.<br />

Monte Zucker—Monte Zucker has been bestowed<br />

every major honor the pr<strong>of</strong>ession can <strong>of</strong>fer, including<br />

WPPI’s Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2002, Monte received<br />

the International Portrait Photographer <strong>of</strong> the Year<br />

Award from the International <strong>Photography</strong> Council, a nonpr<strong>of</strong>it<br />

organization <strong>of</strong> the United Nations. In his endeavor<br />

to educate photographers at the highest level, Monte, along<br />

with partner Gary Bernstein, has created an informationbased<br />

web site for photographers, www.Zuga.net.<br />
