photographic team from Dallas, TX. Their studio, Sallee

Photographer of The Year, Best Album Designer of
The Year, and Best Folio of The Year.
Martin Schembri, M.Photog. AIPP—Martin Schembri
has been winning national awards in his native Australia
for twenty years. He has achieved a Double Master of Photography
with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography.
He is an internationally recognized portrait,
wedding, and commercial photographer and has conducted
seminars worldwide on his unique style of photography.
Michael Schuhmann— Michael Schuhmann of Tampa
Bay, FL, is a highly acclaimed wedding photojournalist who
believes in creating weddings with the style and flair of the
fashion and bridal magazines. He has been the subject of
profiles in Rangefinder and Studio Photography & Design.
Ken Sklute—Beginning his wedding photography career
at sixteen in Long Island, NY, Kenneth quickly advanced
to shooting an average of 150 weddings a year.
About ten years ago, he moved to Arizona, where he enjoys
a thriving business. Kenneth is much decorated, having
been named Long Island Wedding Photographer of the
year fourteen times and PPA Photographer of the Year. In
addition, he has earned numerous Fuji Masterpiece Awards
and Kodak Gallery Awards.
Natasha Staszak—Natasha originates from Sydney,
Australia, but now lives on Long Island, NY. Her background
includes a BA in visual communication, for which
she majored in photography. Her studies brought her to the
Rochester Institute of Technology, and the home of Kodak
soon became her home when she met and later married her
husband. Over the years, Natasha has developed a popular
wedding photography business through word of mouth.
Deanna Urs—Deanna Urs lives in Parker, CO, with her
husband and children. She has turned her love and passion
for the camera into a portrait business that has created a following
of clientele nationally as well as internationally. She
often works in her client’s environment to add a personal
touch to her portraits.
Marc Weisberg—A graduate of University of
California–Irvine with a degree in fine art and photogra-
phy, Marc also attended the School of Visual Arts in New
York City before relocating to Southern California in 1991.
His interest in the culinary arts has led Marc to create numerous
images for marketing and public relations campaigns
as well as images featured in Wines and Spirits,
Riviera, Orange Coast, and Where Los Angeles.
David Anthony Williams (M.Photog. FRPS)—David
Anthony Williams owns a wedding studio in Ashburton,
Victoria, Australia. In 1992 he achieved the rare distinction
of Associateship and Fellowship of the Royal Photographic
Society of Great Britain on the same day. Through the annual
Australian Professional Photography Awards system,
Williams achieved the level of Master of Photography with
Gold Bar—the equivalent of a double master. In 2000, he
was awarded the Accolade of Outstanding Photographic
Achievement from WPPI, and has been a Grand Award
winner at their annual conventions in both 1997 and 2000.
David Worthington—In a recent book celebrating the
best professional photography the last fifty years, David was
honored to have one of his images chosen—only fifty photographs
were chosen from entries sent from around the
world. Two of David’s most recent awards include the 2003
Classical Wedding Photographer of the Year (UK, Northwest
Region) and the 2003 Licentiate Wedding Photographer
of the Year (UK, Northwest Region).
Yervant Zanazanian, M. Photog. AIPP, F.AIPP—
Yervant was born in Ethiopia, then lived and studied in
Venice, Italy prior to settling in Australia. His passion for
photography began at a very young age, when he worked
after school and during school holidays at the photography
business owned by his father, photographer to the Emperor
Hailé Silassé of Ethiopia. Yervant owns a prestigious photography
studio and services clients nationally and internationally.
He has been named Australia’s Wedding Photographer
of the Year three of the past four years.
Monte Zucker—Monte Zucker has been bestowed
every major honor the profession can offer, including
WPPI’s Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2002, Monte received
the International Portrait Photographer of the Year
Award from the International Photography Council, a nonprofit
organization of the United Nations. In his endeavor
to educate photographers at the highest level, Monte, along
with partner Gary Bernstein, has created an informationbased
web site for photographers, www.Zuga.net.
