Mortality by Selected Causes <strong>of</strong> Death: Crude and Age-Adjusted Rates<br />

Table 5.11 on the following pages describes deaths to <strong>Louisiana</strong> residents in <strong>2003</strong> from a number <strong>of</strong> selected causes. For each<br />

<strong>of</strong> the selected causes <strong>of</strong> death, the table includes counts for each gender/race/age group, and crude and age-adjusted death<br />

rates for all groups combined.<br />
