Outside the Classroom
Much of a student’s education takes place outside the classroom. At The University of
Scranton, some of the formal academic learning process takes place off campus in the various
internship programs; on campus there are available traditional extracurricular activities.
In many instances, these activities merit and receive academic credit. They also provide
further means for creating a community of scholars and a culture of excellence.
