VILLAGE OF HUNTLEY<br />
LEGISLATIVE DEPARTMENT – EXPENDITURE OVERVIEW<br />
The Legislative/Executive budget <strong>of</strong> $248,468 includes expenditures <strong>of</strong> $49,768 for<br />
personnel (salaries) services <strong>and</strong> specific programs such as the <strong>Village</strong>’s public<br />
information program, special events (Fourth <strong>of</strong> July Fireworks), weekly farmer’s market<br />
during the summer months, senior transportation services <strong>and</strong> the 50/50 tree<br />
replacement program.<br />
In addition, the department’s budget reflects the <strong>Village</strong>’s desire to maintain<br />
memberships in the Illinois Municipal League (IML), the McHenry County Council <strong>of</strong><br />
Governments (McCOG) <strong>and</strong> the McHenry County Economic Development<br />
Corporation (McEDC).<br />
