Data base
3.1 To create a New DataBase
If you want to create a new Data Base in which to insert your patients’
names:
1. Select "New DB" from the DataBase Selection window. The New
DataBase window will open.
2. Give a name to the new Data Base and insert it into the "DataBase
Name" box
If a Data Base with the same name already exists a "Warning"
message will appear and you will have to give a different name to the
new Data Base.
3. Choose a password for the new Data Base and insert it into the
"Password" box.
4. Insert the same password into the "Confirm Password" box.
5. Press "OK".
If the operation has been executed in a correct way, the name of the new
Data Base will appear in the drop-down list Select a DB in the DataBase
Selection window.
To close the New DataBase window without creating a new Data Base
press "Cancel".
NOTE:
The system makes it possible to create a new Data Base without
password. This can be inserted afterwards with the "Change Password"
box from the DataBase Selection window (paragraph 3.4).
On the contrary it is mandatory to give a name to the new Data Base. If
you do not do that and the "OK" key is pressed, an "error" appears.
