USER'S MANUAL D.M.S. software 1. D.M.S. SOFTWARE DMS software (Data Management System) is a system which enables the user to monitor, manage and customise STRATO 2000 simulating the user’s interface on a remote PC. The system enables the complete management of the patient’s file and of the exams carried out, keeping a historical file of the display data of every exam. Moreover, thanks to U.C.A. (User Customisable Applications) technology, update packages may be installed autonomously, enlarging the system’s applications quickly and easily. In this way the system becomes configurable with a unique flexibility and it is ready to accommodate any change both in your needs and in the availability of new examination methods. 1.1 Preliminary requirements DMS software and the new applicable UCA packages can be installed on a standard PC with the following minimum requirements: • CPU Pentium 100 MHz or more • RAM Memory 64 MB minimum • Operational system Windows 98, ME, 2000, NT • Graphic card 800x600, 65535 colour or more • CD-ROM Reader yes • Serial port standard RS 232 – 9 pole connector The initial installation of the software requires about 20 MB space on hard disk. Additional space will be necessary for files created by the DMS software during use. NOTE: DMS Software must be installed on your PC before new UCA expansion packages can be installed. A serial communication RS232C cable, included in the initial STRATO 2000 equipment, is also required for connecting with STRATO 2000. (Rev. 0) 1 DMS SOFTWARE Strato 2000
