In this case messages will appear on the monitor that will guide you
in updating your unit.
The detailed description of these procedures will be enclosed with the
update CDs.
6. You must repeat the switch-on procedure of your STRATO 2000 unit
at the end of these operations, following the instructions given in
paragraph 6.2 of STRATO 2000 User's Manual.
The equipment will be returned to the patient’s entry position.
NOTE:
Further to the firmware updating procedure necessary for guaranteeing
that the machine functions in association with the "STRATO 2000 DMS"
software, the exam programs already set in your STRATO 2000 could be
updated according to the latest technological progress.
In this case you can find all information concerning the new
specifications in the on-line User's Manual (see chapter 8).
Activation of new application packages
Now STRATO 2000 is ready to enable the new application packages.
1. Be sure that the PC and STRATO 2000 are communicating with
each other, by pressing the connection icon on the service toolbar
inside the patients’ file (chapter 4).
2. Select the U.C.A. window.
The PC communicates with STRATO 2000 and will read the U.I.C.
This code will be automatically visualised in the corresponding
box.
If the univocal identification code is not visualised automatically,
press the "Read" key to force its reading in the machine.
3. Take the letter supplied together with the updating CD and check
that the U.I.C. mentioned in this corresponds to the one
visualised on your PC.
4. Insert the activation code contained in your letter in the box
associated with the application you are installing.
5. Press the "Update" button.
The new application will be loaded and enabled inside your
STRATO 2000.
The process requires a period of time ranging from some seconds
to a few minutes.
6. If a "Warning" message is visualised, check the connection to
STRATO 2000 and repeat the operation.
