date option
Description
Displays or sets the system’s clock/calendar.
The following are the date options:
date
displays the current date information.
Example
6000 Switch>#>date help
Usage: date Display date and time
date mm/dd/yy hh:mm Set date and time(24hr mode)
example: date 5/23/95 11:43
date weekday mm/dd/yy hh:mm
sets the calendar where weekday is the three-letter abbreviation
for the day of the week; mm is the number of the month; dd is
the two-digit date; yy is the last two digits of the year; hh is the
hour; and mm is the minute. The clock is set for 24 hour mode.
