Employer Management Services including Safety & Hygiene
EMS works to develop and implement employer programs to reduce coverage premiums, audit employer sites
and payroll records to ensure premiums are properly reported and enroll and collect employer premium
payments. Safety & Hygiene, a department dedicated to preventing accidents and injuries on the job, provides
a wide variety of occupational safety and health services to Ohio employers and employees. Primary services
include: safety education and training, safety councils, safety congress, safety grants and loan programs, onsite
and field consulting safety services, and library services.
