(3) <strong>The</strong> marking mentionedin paragraph (1) is a marking designated as an approval mark by<br />
regulation 4 of the Approval Marks<strong>Regulations</strong>, being in each case a mark shown in column 2 of an<br />
item in Schedule 2 to those <strong>Regulations</strong>which refers, in column 5, to the ECE Regulation in question,<br />
applied as indicatedin column 4 in that item.<br />
(4) A relevant type approvalrequirement is a requirement of the Type Approval (Great Britain)<br />
<strong>Regulations</strong>or the Type Approval for Goods <strong>Vehicles</strong> <strong>Regulations</strong> which appears—<br />
(a) in column 4 of Table I in Schedule 2in the item in which the Community Directive in<br />
question appears in column3, or<br />
(b) in column 4 of Table II in Schedule 2in the item in which the ECE Regulation in question<br />

DIMENSIONS AND MANOEUVRABILITY<br />
7.—(1) Subjectto paragraphs (2) to (6), the overall length of a vehicle or combination ofvehicles<br />
of a class specified in an item in column 2 of the Table shall notexceed the maximum length specified<br />
in that item in column 3 of the Table,the overall length in the case of a combination of vehicles being<br />
calculatedin accordance with regulation 81(g) <strong>and</strong> (h).<br />
