Vehicle identification numbers<br />

67.—(1) This regulationapplies to a wheeled vehicle which is first used on or after 1st April<br />

1980<strong>and</strong> to which the Type Approval (Great Britain) <strong>Regulations</strong> apply.<br />

(2) A vehicle to whichthis regulation applies shall be equipped with a plate which is in a<br />

conspicuous<strong>and</strong> readily accessible position, is affixed to a vehicle part which is notnormally subject<br />

to replacement <strong>and</strong> shows clearly <strong>and</strong> indelibly—<br />

(a) the vehicleidentification number in accordance with the requirements specified—<br />
