6. Regina v. Camberwell Green Youth Court (Respondents) ex parte Director of Public Prosecutions<br />

(Respondent) (G (by his mother and litigation friend) (FC) (Appellant) (Interested Party))<br />

(Criminal Appeal from Her Majesty’s High Court of Justice)—<br />

It was moved by the Lord Nicholls of Birkenhead, That the 12th Report from the Appellate<br />

Committee be agreed to; the motion was agreed to. It was ordered and adjudged that the<br />

appeal of D and the appeal of G be dismissed; that the two Orders of the Divisional Court of<br />

4th February 2003 be aYrmed; that the certified question be answered in the aYrmative; and<br />

that the costs of the appellants be taxed in accordance with the Access to Justice Act 1999.<br />

7. Trennery (Respondent) v. West (Her Majesty’s Inspector of Taxes) (Appellant) and four other<br />

actions—It was moved by the Lord HoVmann, on behalf of the Lord Steyn, That the 13th<br />

Report from the Appellate Committee be agreed to; the motion was agreed to. It was ordered<br />

and adjudged that the Order of the Court of Appeal of 18th December 2003 be set aside and<br />

the Order of Mr Justice Peter Smith in the High Court of Justice, Chancery Division of 1st<br />

April 2003 restored; that the appellants do pay to the respondents their costs in this House and<br />

that the respondents do pay to the appellants their costs in the Court of Appeal, the amount<br />

of such costs in this House to be certified by the Clerk of the <strong>Parliament</strong>s if not agreed between<br />

the parties. [2005] UKHL 5<br />

8. In re J (a child) (England)—The appeal of the mother was presented and it was ordered that in<br />

accordance with Standing Order VI the statement and appendix thereto be lodged on or before<br />

10th March.<br />

9. Burton (Her Majesty’s Collector of Taxes) (Respondent) v. Mellham Limited (Appellants)—The<br />

appeal was set down for hearing and referred to an Appellate Committee.<br />

10. Massey and another (Appellants) v. Boulden and another (Respondents)—The petition of the<br />

appellants praying that the time for lodging the statement and appendix and setting down the<br />

cause for hearing might be extended to 14th March (the agents for the respondents consenting<br />

thereto) was presented; and it was ordered as prayed.<br />

The House was adjourned during pleasure.<br />
