10. Income Tax (Trading and Other Income) Bill—A bill to restate, with minor changes, certain<br />

enactments relating to income tax on trading income, property income, savings and<br />

investment income and certain other income; and for connected purposes was brought from<br />

the Commons endorsed with the certificate of the Speaker that the bill is a money bill and read<br />

a first time.<br />

11. Prevention of Terrorism Bill—The report was received; amendments were agreed to; further<br />

amendments were agreed to (see division lists 1 to 4 and 6); amendments were moved and (by<br />

leave of the House) withdrawn; an amendment was disagreed to (see division list 5); it was<br />

ordered that the bill be printed as amended. (HL Bill 38)<br />

12. Water Fluoridation (Consultation) (England) Regulations 2005—It was moved by the Lord<br />

Warner that the draft Regulations laid before the House on 22nd February be approved; after<br />

debate, the motion was agreed to.<br />

13. Water Supply (Fluoridation Indemnities) (England) Regulations 2005—It was moved by the Lord<br />

Warner that the draft Regulations laid before the House on 22nd February be approved; the<br />

motion was agreed to.<br />

14. Opticians Act 1989 (Amendment) Order 2005—It was moved by the Lord Warner that the draft<br />

Order laid before the House on 24th February be approved; after debate, the motion was<br />

agreed to.<br />

The House was adjourned during pleasure.<br />

15. Prevention of Terrorism Bill—Standing Order 47 having been dispensed with, the bill was read a<br />

third time; amendments were agreed to; then, after debate, the bill was passed and returned<br />

to the Commons with amendments.<br />
