1. Lord Sheppard of Liverpool—The Lord Chancellor acquainted the House that Lord Sheppard of<br />

Liverpool, a member of the House, had died on 5th March 2005.<br />

2. Leave of Absence—It was ordered that leave of absence be granted to the Baroness Jeger for the<br />

remainder of this <strong>Parliament</strong>.<br />

3. MH (by her litigation friend, OYcial Solicitor) (Respondent) v. Secretary of State for the<br />

Department of Health (Appellant) and others (England)— The appeal of the Secretary of<br />

State for the Department of Health was presented and it was ordered that in accordance with<br />

Standing Order VI the statement and appendix thereto be lodged on or before 18th April.<br />

4. McCarroll (Petitioner) v. Statham Gill Davies (a firm) (Respondents)— The petition of Anthony<br />
