4.2.4 Opening up <strong>of</strong> the University <strong>of</strong> Hull’s <strong>Scarborough</strong> Campus to some extent could be<br />

responsible for the above average growth <strong>of</strong> 10-19 year olds in the <strong>Borough</strong> as well as<br />

the Town. However, lack <strong>of</strong> graduate opportunities within <strong>Scarborough</strong> forces the<br />

younger dynamic and skilled workforce to move out <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Borough</strong>. These reasons may<br />

account for the recent decline in 20-29 year olds witnessed by the Town and the wider<br />

<strong>Borough</strong>.<br />
