Direct Debit Payment Option<br />

Direct debit allows you to pay for your orders from your<br />

checking or savings account. You may add up to two checking<br />

and/or savings accounts into your <strong>Demonstrator</strong> Payment<br />

Profile to use when paying online or over the phone. The<br />

money is usually deducted from your account the day after the<br />

order is placed.<br />

To sign up for direct debit, go to your <strong>Demonstrator</strong> Payment<br />

Profile and add a checking or savings account to your profile.<br />

Electronic Check Payment Option<br />

Electronic checks allow you to pay for your orders using your<br />

checking or savings account. You may add up to two checking<br />

and/or savings accounts into your <strong>Demonstrator</strong> Payment<br />

Profile to use when paying online or over the phone. The<br />

money is usually deducted from your account the day after<br />

the order is placed.<br />

To sign up for electronic check payment options, go to your<br />

<strong>Demonstrator</strong> Payment Profile and add a checking or savings<br />

account to your profile.<br />

Copyrights Definitions<br />

The following is a list of some of the definitions you<br />

should refer to as you read the Trademarks and<br />

Copyrights Policy.<br />

■ A COPYRIGHT is the exclusive legal right to<br />

copy, publish, sell, or otherwise profit from<br />

written, musical, or artistic material.<br />

■ A TRADEMARK is a distinctive word, name,<br />

logo, or phrase describing or identifying a<br />

product which is legally reserved for the<br />

exclusive use of the product’s owner.<br />

■ A SAMPLE is an item such as a card, scrapbook<br />

page, or three-dimensional project that<br />

contains one or more Stampin’ <strong>Up</strong>! image(s).<br />

■ MECHANICAL REPRODUCTION of an image<br />

or sample that includes any reproduction<br />

method other than hand stamping.<br />

Trademarks and Copyrights Policy<br />

<strong>Demonstrator</strong>s benefit from Stampin’ <strong>Up</strong>!’s protection of its<br />

intellectual property. Stampin’ <strong>Up</strong>!’s exclusivity is an important<br />

selling point, and the company will take the necessary steps to<br />

preserve this advantage for all its demonstrators.<br />

The following items, which constitute the intellectual property<br />

of Stampin’ <strong>Up</strong>!, are protected by copyright, trademark, and<br />

patent laws:<br />

■ Stampin’ <strong>Up</strong>!’s images sold as stamps, stamp sets,<br />

prestamped images, vinyl wall art, and digital artwork.<br />

■ Stampin’ <strong>Up</strong>!’s logo and other words, phrases, and logos<br />

that are developed by the company to enhance the<br />

marketability of Stampin’ <strong>Up</strong>! products.<br />

■ Any of the devices and processes comprising certain<br />

accessories and methods that may be developed by the<br />

company and sold as products.<br />

■ Any downline and upline demonstrator lists developed<br />

by the company for use in marketing products and properly<br />

compensating demonstrators.<br />

No person may use or rely on Stampin’ <strong>Up</strong>!’s name to promote<br />

a business or sell any product other than Stampin’ <strong>Up</strong>!<br />

products.<br />

Stampin’ <strong>Up</strong>! Logos<br />

Digital files of the Stampin’ <strong>Up</strong>! logo are available on the<br />

<strong>Demonstrator</strong> Web Site. <strong>Demonstrator</strong>s may download and<br />

use these logos on minor advertising or any approved major<br />

advertising (see the Advertising section for further explanation<br />

of these terms).<br />

<strong>Demonstrator</strong>s should use only Stampin’ <strong>Up</strong>!-approved logos.<br />

Additional guidelines on logo usage, as well as files of approved<br />

logos, are available on the <strong>Demonstrator</strong> Web Site under the<br />

Printing Place.<br />

When using the Stampin’ <strong>Up</strong>! logo, make sure that the logo<br />

is straight, not tilted. You may reproduce the logo in any<br />

solid color. Although demonstrators can use the logo on their<br />

advertising, they cannot place the logo on any other items or<br />

products without the approval of Stampin’ <strong>Up</strong>! Only Stampin’<br />

<strong>Up</strong>! approved vendors are authorized to reproduce the logo for<br />

demonstrator’s logo supplies or merchandise. <strong>Demonstrator</strong>s<br />

may, however, use the logo to create their own business cards,<br />

but must receive approval from Stampin’ <strong>Up</strong>! before printing.<br />
