49 If a user forgets their password they can click on the Forgot Your Password? link and are taken to a page where they can enter their username and the e-mail address that was input when their profile was created. 50 After successfully logging into the application the user sees an expanded menu system along the top of the screen and is presented with the Message and Appointment page, Figure 17. Depending on the users role in the system the menu items will be limited. Figure 17 - Initial Login Page (Darschewski, 2006). The Create Profile section, under the Profile menu item, is where the administrator can create other users of the application. This page can be seen in Figure 18. The user is required to enter the information that is identified by a red asterisk. It is important that the correct job role and location access is given so that a user is not inadvertently given more, or less, access than their job requires. When the form is submitted the user information is stored in the database. In this application user passwords will not be stored as clear text in the database, but rather in an encrypted form.
