Advanced Food Safety Training<br />
This management level training with a comprehensive review of the<br />
entire food service operation is based on the ServSafe ® Serving Safe<br />
Food course book. Case studies and practical methods will give you<br />
skills you can apply your workplace for food safety auditing, applying<br />
HACCP principles and general WHMIS guidelines. Certification, valid<br />
for 5 years, requires a passing grade of 75%. A passing grade of 90%<br />
or above will qualify you to become an instructor of the Advanced Food<br />
Safety Training course.<br />

Allergen Training<br />
Get the resources you need, in the food service and food retail industry,<br />
to improve allergen awareness, training and customer safety effectively.<br />
Targeted towards front line employees, this program, jointly developed<br />
by Anaphylaxis Canada and TrainCan, is designed as an introductory<br />
study course. We will discuss three main learning areas: LEARN<br />
(types, labeling, symptoms etc.), PREVENT (proper procedures, flow of<br />
allergens, avoidance etc.), and RESPOND. The 32-page colour course<br />
book (included in course fees) provides an excellent resource during<br />
and after class completion. Students receive a certificate of completion<br />
upon successful completion of the course examination.<br />
