Goal H-1: Work to increase <strong>Methuen</strong>’s inventory <strong>of</strong> affordable housing units which qualify under Chapter 40B.<br />

the Commonwealth’s Model Inclusionary ordinance as a start, and see how Melrose,<br />

Barnstable, Newton, and others have achieved success using this tool. Potential<br />

funding for assistance can be sought from the Priority Development Fund (PDF) or<br />

its replacement.<br />

H-1.3: Create an Affordable Housing <strong>Plan</strong> in accordance with the <strong>Plan</strong>ned<br />

Production regulation promulgated by the Massachusetts Department <strong>of</strong> Housing<br />

and Community Development (DHCD).<br />
