11.2.3 Filling with water<br />

To fill the water tank with fresh water, proceed as follows:<br />

Open the fresh water filler neck (Fig. 77).<br />

Fill the water tank with fresh water. Use a water hose, a water canister with<br />

<br />

a funnel or similar for filling.<br />

Close the fresh water filler neck.<br />

11.2.4 Draining water<br />

Unlock and remove the cap (Fig. 79,2) from the water drain neck<br />

<br />

(Fig. 79,1) by turning it a quarter turn in a clockwise direction.<br />

Open the external flap (see section 7.2).<br />

<br />

Mount suitable hose to the water drain neck (Fig. 79,1) or place appropriate<br />

<br />

container under the water drain neck.<br />

Open drain cock. The water will drain.<br />

<br />

Close drain cock.<br />

<br />

Close the external flap.<br />

<br />

Replace the cap and lock it by turning it a quarter turn in an anticlockwise<br />

<br />

direction.<br />

11.3 Waste water tank<br />

In case of frost add so much anti-freeze (such as kitchen salt) to the waste<br />

<br />

water tank so that the waste water cannot freeze.<br />

If the living area heater is out of order, the waste water tank no longer is<br />

<br />

sufficiently protected against frost.<br />

Never pour boiling water directly into the sink outlet. Boiling water could<br />

<br />

cause deformation and leaks in the waste water pipe system.<br />

Only empty the waste water tank at disposal stations, camping sites or caravan<br />

sites especially provided for this purpose.<br />

The waste water tap (Fig. 80,1) is fitted in the double floor, on the left side of<br />

the vehicle. The waste water tap can be accessed via the rear garage. The<br />

waste water tap is labelled with the word "Abwasser" (waste water). A hose<br />

line can be connected to the drain neck (Fig. 81,1).<br />
