7.7.3 Blind and insect screen<br />
The windows in the motorhome are fitted with a blind and an insect screen.<br />
The blind and insect screen can be adjusted separately.<br />

The blind is located in the bottom blind box.<br />
Press handle (Fig. 21,4) and draw the blind (Fig. 21,5) from the bottom to<br />
<br />
the top up to the desired height.<br />
Release handle. The blind locks into the nearest locking position.<br />
<br />
Clench the handle (Fig. 21,4). The latch is released.<br />
<br />
Slowly guide blind (Fig. 21,5) back.<br />
<br />
The insect screen is located in the upper blind box.<br />
Closing: Pull the insect screen (Fig. 21,2) down until it touches the blind (Fig. 21,5)<br />
and the closure latch (Fig. 21,1) engages in the locking device (Fig. 21,3).<br />
Opening:<br />
Release both locks (Fig. 21,3) simultaneously.<br />

Slowly return insect screen into its initial position.<br />

7.8 Skylights<br />
Depending on the model, skylights with or without forced ventilation are fitted<br />
to the vehicle. If a skylight is fitted without forced ventilation, the forced ventilation<br />
is performed using mushroom-shaped vents.<br />
The apertures for forced ventilation must always be kept open. Never<br />
cover or block forced ventilations with objects such as e.g. a winter mat.<br />
Keep forced ventilations clear of snow and leaves.<br />
The skylights are fitted with a Roman shade and an insect screen. After the<br />
<br />
latch has been released, the insect screen automatically springs back to<br />
the initial position by tensile force. In order not to damage the tension<br />
mechanics, hold onto the insect screen and allow it to slowly return to the<br />
initial position.<br />
If the Roman shade is completely closed, heat can accumulate between<br />
<br />
the Roman shade and the glass windows when exposed to direct sunlight.<br />
The skylight could be damaged. For that reason, close the Roman shade<br />
only 2/3 of the way in direct sunlight. Open the skylight slightly or move it<br />
to ventilation position.<br />
