Appliances<br />

Turn the control knob (Fig. 66,1) to "Large flame" or "Small flame".<br />

Press the control knob down and hold it.<br />

<br />

Press the rocker switch (Fig. 66,2) until there is a flame.<br />

<br />

Once the flame is burning, the control knob must be held down in for 10 to<br />

<br />

15 seconds, until the thermocouple automatically keeps the gas supply<br />

open.<br />

Release the control knob and turn to the desired setting.<br />

<br />

Switching off:<br />

Turn the control knob to the 0-position. The flame fades.<br />

<br />

Close the gas isolator tap "Cooker" and the regulator tap on the gas bottle.<br />

<br />

10.5.2 Gas oven<br />

Keep the ventilation openings on the gas oven open at all times.<br />

There must be no flammable objects near the gas oven when it is being<br />

The oven flap must remain open when it is being lit.<br />

If ignition has not taken place, repeat the entire procedure. If necessary,<br />

check if there is gas and/or current in the gas oven.<br />

If the gas oven still does not work, close the gas isolator tap and notify<br />

your <strong>Dethleffs</strong> dealer.<br />

If the burner flame is accidentally extinguished, turn the control knob to<br />

<br />

" " and leave the burner off for at least 1 minute. Then ignite it again.<br />

Before using the gas oven for the first time run it for 30 minutes at maximum<br />

temperature without any contents.<br />

When the flame goes out, the thermocouple automatically cuts the gas<br />

<br />

supply.<br />

Switching on:<br />

<strong>Manual</strong> ignition:<br />

Open the regulator tap on the gas bottle and the gas isolator tap "Oven".<br />

<br />

Fully open the oven flap (Fig. 67,2).<br />

<br />

Press the control knob (Fig. 67,1) down and hold it.<br />

<br />

Light the burner with a gas lighter, a match or other suitable means of<br />

<br />

lighting.<br />
