10.2.1 Gas operation<br />

Switching on:<br />

Open the regulator tap on the gas bottle and the gas isolator tap "Heater/<br />

<br />

boiler".<br />

Set sliding switch (Fig. 59,3) to gas operation.<br />

<br />

Turn the temperature control knob (Fig. 59,8) on the operating unit to the<br />

<br />

desired heating level.<br />

Set sliding switch (Fig. 59,6) to either "Heater" (Fig. 59,4) or to "Heater and<br />

<br />

hot water" (Fig. 59,5).<br />

The red indicator lamp (Fig. 59,2) goes on whenever a fault occurs.<br />

Switching off: Set the sliding switches (Fig. 59,3 and 6) to "0".<br />

Close the gas isolator tap "Heater/boiler" and the regulator tap on the gas<br />

<br />

bottle.<br />

10.2.2 240 V electrical operation<br />

Switching on:<br />

Set sliding switch (Fig. 59,1) to the required output level.<br />

<br />

Turn the temperature control knob (Fig. 59,8) on the operating unit to the<br />

<br />

desired heating level.<br />

Set sliding switch (Fig. 59,6) to either "Heater" (Fig. 59,4) or to "Heater and<br />

<br />

hot water" (Fig. 59,5).<br />

Switching off: Set the sliding switches (Fig. 59,1 and 6) to "0".<br />

10.2.3 Gas and 240 V electrical operation<br />

If gas and 240 V electrical operation is selected and if the vehicle is connected<br />

to the 240 V power supply, then the hot-water heater at first only<br />

operates in 240 V electric operation. Only if the heat output is insufficient<br />

does the gas operation also automatically switch on.<br />

Switching on:<br />

Open the regulator tap on the gas bottle and the gas isolator tap "Heater/<br />

<br />

boiler".<br />

Set sliding switch (Fig. 59,1) to the required output level.<br />

<br />

Set sliding switch (Fig. 59,3) to gas operation.<br />

<br />

Turn the temperature control knob (Fig. 59,8) on the operating unit to the<br />

<br />

desired heating level.<br />

Set sliding switch (Fig. 59,6) to either "Heater" (Fig. 59,4) or to "Heater and<br />

<br />

hot water" (Fig. 59,5).<br />
