Electrical system<br />
Connection possibilities<br />
In order to be prepared for all connection possibilities, <strong>Dethleffs</strong> recommends<br />
the following combinations:<br />

Adapter cable:<br />

CEE 17 socket with earth contact (Fig. 52,1) – plug with earth contact<br />
(Fig. 52,2).<br />
Cable reel:<br />

Socket with earth contact (Fig. 52,3) – plug with earth contact (Fig. 52,4).<br />
Adapter cable:<br />
<br />
CEE 17 socket with earth contact (Fig. 52,5) – plug with earth contact<br />
(Fig. 52,6).<br />
When using a CEE 17 angled connector with rear socket (Fig. 53,1) only<br />
use a rubberised and sealed IP 44 socket with earth contact (Fig. 53,2).<br />
Do not use sockets without earth contact (Fig. 53,3). Danger of electrocution!<br />
9.9 Fuses<br />
Only replace defective fuses when the cause of the defect is known and<br />
<br />
has been remedied.<br />
Never bridge or repair fuses.<br />
<br />
9.9.1 12 V fuses<br />
The appliances connected to the 12 V power supply in the living area are fused<br />
individually. The fuses are accessible in the engine compartment, at the living<br />
area battery and on the transformer/rectifier (Fig. 50).<br />
Before changing fuses, take the function, value and colour of the relevant<br />
fuses from the following specifications. When changing fuses, only use flat<br />
fuses with the values shown below.<br />
