15.9.0.3 To be permitted to compete, a machine,<br />
without rider, without fuel tank fitted, but<br />
with all other fluids as raced, must weigh<br />
no less than 170kgs.<br />
15.9.0.4 If a particular modification or change <strong>of</strong><br />
part is not covered in these rules, then<br />
the modification or change <strong>of</strong> part is not<br />
permitted.<br />
15.9.1 Definitions- Pro Twins<br />
15.9.1.1 For the purposes <strong>of</strong> these Rules:<br />
a) OEM means Original Equipment<br />
Manufacture- but not year or model<br />
specific,<br />
b) OEM, per Model means- Original<br />
Equipment Manufacture- but not<br />
year specific,<br />
c) OEM, per Model and Year means<br />
Original Equipment Manufacture- for the<br />
machine’s specific year and model.<br />
15.9.2 Pro-Twins - Frames and Parts<br />
15.9.2.1 The following must be removed:<br />
a) Headlamp,<br />
b) Tail lamp,<br />
c) Reflectors,<br />
d) Pillion pegs,<br />
e) Horns,<br />
f) Traffic indicators,<br />
g) Mirrors,<br />
h) Centre and side stands,<br />
i) Registration plate and label holder.<br />
15.9.2.2 The following may be removed:<br />
a) Rear mudguards,<br />
b) Inner guards,<br />
c) Thermo fans,<br />
d) Starter motor,<br />
e) Alternator,<br />
f) Anti-pollution gear and/or anti-icing<br />
equipment,<br />
g) Any other thing that will not affect the<br />
safety, structural integrity or visual<br />
silhouette integrity <strong>of</strong> the motorcycle,<br />
unless in contravention <strong>of</strong> these Rules.<br />
15.9.2.3 Any sharp edges left by the removal <strong>of</strong> the<br />
above components must be protected by<br />
a rolled edge or beading <strong>of</strong> minimum 3mm<br />
diameter.<br />
15.9.2.4 The following must be as OEM, per model<br />
and year:<br />
a) Frame,<br />
b) Swingarm,<br />
c) Rear suspension link,<br />
d) Fork tubes and sliders, but internals<br />
my be modified. External adjusters<br />
may be fitted<br />
e) Brake discs and calipers<br />
f) Fuel tank- no modifications<br />
permitted.<br />
15.9.2.5 The following must be as OEM, per<br />
model:<br />
a) Fuel filler cap (must be operational).<br />
15.9.2.6 The following may be modified, added or<br />
replaced:<br />
a) Brake master cylinders,<br />
b) Brake pads,<br />
c) Brake lines,<br />
d) Throttle housing and cables,<br />
e) Foot pegs,<br />
f) Gear levers,<br />
g) Foot peg brackets,<br />
h) Instruments,<br />
i) Handlebars,<br />
j) Triple Clamps.<br />
k) Steering dampers,<br />
l) Speedshifters.<br />
m) Approved lap timing devices.<br />

n) Fuel injection control devices<br />
15.9.2.7 The following may be modified as<br />
follows:<br />
a) Rear Suspension- Ride height<br />
adjuster permitted Shock absorber<br />
manufacturer and length free,<br />
b) Frame, where a subframe is<br />
replaced or repaired<br />
c) Subframe where repaired or<br />
replaced, but original pr<strong>of</strong>ile must be<br />
maintained.<br />
15.9.2.8 The following is free:<br />
a) Rear suspension link arm rods<br />
15.9.2.9 Wheels must comply with the following:<br />
a) Diameter may be changed to 17”, but<br />
16.5” diameter wheels not permitted,<br />
b) Front Wheel 3.5” maximum width,<br />
c) Rear Wheel 6.0” maximum width,<br />
d) Colour optional,<br />
