in placing following the exclusion, in<br />

some other place.<br />

12.12.1.3 A Steward or Clerk <strong>of</strong> Course may stop an<br />

event and order it to be re-run if it would<br />

be dangerous for it to continue.<br />

12.12.1.4 In any re-run:<br />

a) Any competitor who:<br />

i) Fell in the stopped event as a<br />

result <strong>of</strong> having been fouled,<br />

ii) Intentionally laid down his or her<br />

machine in the interests <strong>of</strong> safety,<br />

or<br />

iii) Left the course in the interests <strong>of</strong><br />

safety,<br />

may participate.<br />

b) Any competitor who:<br />

i) Caused or contributed to the<br />

event being stopped,<br />

ii) Failed to start in,<br />

iii) Retired from,<br />

iv) Was excluded from,<br />

v) Had been lapped during the<br />

course <strong>of</strong> the stopped event,<br />

may not participate.<br />

12.13 Flags and Signals- all<br />

disciplines<br />

12.13.0.1 The minimum dimensions <strong>of</strong> all flags must<br />

be 500mm x 500mm.<br />

12.13.0.2 Track flags and signals have the following<br />

meanings:<br />

12.13.0.3 Flag signals may be supplemented by<br />

light signals as follows:<br />

12.13.0.4 The National flag signifying the start <strong>of</strong> an<br />

event may be replaced by:<br />

a) A light signal,<br />

b) A starting tape,<br />

c) A rubber band, or<br />

d) A dropping gate<br />

12.14 Scoring- all disciplines<br />

12.14.0.1 For events, other than:<br />

a) The <strong>Australia</strong>n Supercross<br />

Championship which have fewer<br />

than 15 start gates, and<br />

b) <strong>Australia</strong>n Superbike Championship<br />

where a point scoring system is used,<br />

points will be allocated from 1 st to 20 th<br />

placing as shown in the following table:<br />

Race or practice stopped prematurely. Competitors must slow down, must<br />

not overtake and must slowly proceed to the parc fermè, pits, or other area<br />

indicated to them by <strong>of</strong>ficials. The red flag will also be used to signal the end<br />

<strong>of</strong> a demonstration<br />

Black flag held stationary and black board Competitor with number indicated on black board must stop at the pits on the<br />

with rider’s number<br />

Danger, ride slowly, overtaking is forbidden<br />
