h) Age group racing:<br />
i) Subject to sub-Rule ii), only<br />
competitors in the same age<br />
groups may compete against<br />

groups in the following classes may<br />
compete with each other if there are<br />
insufficient entries for each class:<br />
• 85cc 2-stroke big wheels and<br />
150cc 4stroke single cylinder,<br />
100cc single cylinder and 125cc<br />
single cylinder,<br />
• 125cc single cylinder & 250cc 4-stroke,<br />
• Sidecars,<br />
j) An RCB may grade junior competitors<br />
according to their respective skills,<br />
k) Division 1 is a non competitive class,<br />
12.16.0.4 4-stroke non-motocross type machines<br />
80cc to 160cc are approved for competition<br />
under the following conditions:<br />
a) Use limited to natural terrain Motocross<br />
(no man-made jumps) , Enduro and<br />
Dirt track competitions only.<br />
b) Exhaust systems may be modified or<br />
changed.<br />
c) External gearing and carburetor<br />
jetting may also be altered.<br />
d) No other modifications are allowed.<br />
12.16.0.5 4-stroke 150cc motocross-type machines<br />
may compete against 85cc 2-stroke<br />
machines in Junior competition.<br />
12.16.1 Junior Trail Bikes<br />
12.16.1.1 The following machines are eligible for<br />
club and inter-club competitions:<br />
a) 7 to under 13 years 65cc class<br />

12.17.1.1 Eligible Machines are:<br />

12.17.1.2 Machine Requirements:<br />
a) Engine capacity must not exceed 50cc,<br />
b) The gearbox for 2-stroke machines<br />
must have 1 gear,<br />
c) The gearbox for 4-stroke machines<br />
may have up to 3 gears,<br />
d) Standard gear ratios must be retained,<br />
e) The clutch must be <strong>of</strong> centrifugal type,<br />
and <strong>of</strong> OEM type,<br />
f) 10” [254mm] wheels must be fitted,<br />
g) The appearance <strong>of</strong> a machine must<br />
remain as manufactured provided<br />
that the following may be altered:<br />
i) Colour,<br />
ii) Seat,<br />
iii) Mudguards,<br />
iv) Handlebars,<br />
v) Grips,<br />
vi) Levers,<br />
vii) Cables,<br />
viii) Chains,<br />
ix) Tyre brand and tread pattern,<br />
x) Carburettor Jets,<br />
xi) Spark Plug.<br />
h) The frame <strong>of</strong> a machine may be<br />
gusseted and strengthened but not so<br />
as to alter the geometry <strong>of</strong> the frame.<br />
A certificate issued by a qualified<br />
engineer in respect <strong>of</strong> any such<br />
gusseting and strengthening must be<br />
available at machine examination,<br />
i) The restricting washer in the exhaust<br />
