providing they are legible at 20 metres.<br />

12.6.4 Number Plate Figures<br />

12.6.4.1 Figures must be Arial Rounded MT Bold<br />

font.<br />

12.6.4.2 Figures must be clearly legible, the<br />

12.6.4.4 Advertising is permitted on all machines,<br />

but must be at least 25mm clear <strong>of</strong> the<br />

number plate background and the rider’s<br />

name by either a gap or a contrasting<br />

colour strip.<br />

12.6.5 Back Numbers – Juniors<br />

12.6.5.1 No junior may compete, except in Enduro<br />

or Moto-Trials unless wearing the machine<br />

identification number on their back in<br />

contrasting colours and with a minimum<br />

size <strong>of</strong> 125mm height and 20mm width <strong>of</strong><br />

stroke.<br />

12.7 Radio communication<br />

12.7.1.1 Radio communications with riders is not<br />

allowed, and will be classed as outside<br />

assistance.<br />

12.8 Frames And Parts - all<br />

disciplines<br />

12.8.1 Streamlining<br />

12.8.1.1 All streamlining fitted to motorcycles or<br />

sidecars must be free <strong>of</strong> any sharp edges<br />

on exposed extremities.<br />

12.8.1.2 For fibreglass construction, edges must<br />

be rounded to their own thickness but<br />

need not be wired.<br />

12.8.1.3 All forward streamlining attached to<br />

solo and sidecar machines must have a<br />

minimum <strong>of</strong> 3 attachment points:<br />
