requested to be accompanied by a witness<br />
at all times for the next 20 minutes. You<br />
will not be permitted to consume any<br />
substance by mouth until after the test.”<br />
11.21.6 Procedure for Processing a “Double<br />
Positive” Result<br />
11.21.6.1 The competitors and <strong>of</strong>ficials must be<br />
advised by the testing <strong>of</strong>ficial <strong>of</strong> the result<br />
<strong>of</strong> both tests, that is, the reading noted on<br />
the instrument.<br />
11.21.6.2 The competitors and <strong>of</strong>ficials must be<br />
advised that under the MA Anti Doping<br />
Policy, no further participation in the<br />
meeting will be permitted.<br />
11.21.7 Procedure following a report <strong>of</strong> a<br />
“Double Positive” Result<br />
11.21.7.1 The applicable action having been taken,<br />
the procedures for notification <strong>of</strong> a positive<br />
result will be followed (see GCR 11.2).<br />
11.21.8 Report by Testing Official<br />
11.218.1 In the case where no positive reading was<br />
achieved on the confirming test, the results<br />
shall be included with the Stewards’ report<br />
<strong>of</strong> the meeting.<br />
11.21.8.2 In the case where 1 or more positive<br />
readings were achieved on the confirming<br />
test, the original <strong>of</strong> the report must be<br />
hand delivered or sent to the RCB by<br />
registered post the following day, together<br />
with all appropriate Stewards Reports.<br />
11.22 ALCOHOL BLOOD TESTING<br />
11.22.1.1 Any competitor or <strong>of</strong>ficial detected with<br />
a blood alcohol content above 0.1g/litre<br />
as a result <strong>of</strong> a blood test performed by<br />
qualified medical practitioners or police<br />
will be subject to sanctions under GCR<br />
