Motor racing is DANGEROUS, and spectators attending this track do so entirely at their own<br />

risk. It is a condition <strong>of</strong> admission that all persons having a connection with the promotion,<br />

and/or organisation, and/or conduct <strong>of</strong> the meeting, including the owners <strong>of</strong> the land and<br />

the riders and owners <strong>of</strong> vehicles and passengers in the vehicles, are absolved from all<br />

liability arising out <strong>of</strong> the accidents causing damage or personal injury to spectators or ticket<br />

holders, except where due care and skill has not been exercised.<br />

The riding <strong>of</strong> motorcycles in the pit area is only<br />

allowed in marked access lanes.<br />

Notice 4.1.4.6<br />

4.2.2.2 An application for a competition permit<br />

must be in the prescribed form to the RCB<br />

and must:<br />

a) Be accompanied by the prescribed<br />

fee,<br />

b) For any meeting forming part <strong>of</strong><br />

an <strong>Australia</strong>n Championship, be<br />

submitted at least 3 months before<br />

the date set for the meeting,<br />

c) For International meetings (i.e.<br />

involving licensees from federations<br />

other than MA and MNZ), MA series<br />

or National meetings, be submitted<br />

at least 8 weeks before the date set<br />

for the meeting,<br />

d) For any other meeting, be submitted<br />

at least 14 days before the date set<br />

for the meeting,<br />

e) Be accompanied by proposed SR,<br />

and<br />

56 enjoy the ride<br />

f) Identify the proposed venue.<br />

4.2.2.3 An RCB may issue a competition permit<br />

subject to terms and conditions or may<br />

refuse to issue a permit.<br />

a) At the time <strong>of</strong> issue <strong>of</strong> a competition<br />

permit to a Promoter, the RCB may<br />

require the Promoter to deposit with<br />

the RCB a bond which:<br />

i) Is equivalent to the prize money,<br />

ii) Is an estimate by the RCB <strong>of</strong> the<br />

gate levy payable.<br />

b) Where a bond is not required, the<br />

RCB will assume responsibility for<br />

the prize money.<br />

c) A permit must not be issued unless<br />

the Promoter making application is<br />

insured to the satisfaction <strong>of</strong> the RCB.<br />

4.2.2.4 Where any <strong>of</strong> the conditions <strong>of</strong> a<br />

competition permit are not satisfied the<br />

RCB may revoke the permit.<br />
