CPG Consolidated Fees & Charges Bylaw No. 7557, 2004 Page 69 “B – 9” COMMUNITY SERVICES Fees and Charges for Active Living Guide EFFECTIVE: JANUARY 1, 2014 Amended by BL8533, 2013 B-10(a) Definitions and Terms and Conditions Definitions: Standard Rates The standard rate applies to organizations offering programs and services for a fee with the intention of making personal or organizational gain or where admission fees are charged and the community is not the main beneficiary and the proceeds generated are not 100% directed to a not for profit organization or registered charity. Discount Rates A discount rate is available to not for profit groups, charitable organizations or registered societies organizing leisure opportunities or community services that do not charge admissions and/or have no intention of making personal financial gains. Inside Front or Back Cover A rate for full colour pages – outside back cover and inside back and front covers are available. A full page is approximately 7” wide x 9 ½” high but may vary depending on printer requirements. Body All ads in the body of the guide are featured in black and white and typically appear towards the end of the guide. The number of ads accepted depends on available space in the guide and size may vary depending on printer requirements. All ads need to be provided in pdf format. Terms and Conditions: Booking and Payment An Advertising Agreement Form must be completed and returned with payment to the City of Prince George Service Centre. Customers choose the ad size that best meets their needs and confirm the space prior to the specified deadline date by returning their completed form to the City of Prince George. Ads are not confirmed until payment is made. General Timelines The Active Living Guide is printed and distributed two (2) times per year: The Fall/Winter Active Living Guide is distributed in early September The Spring/Summer Active Living Guide is distributed in early March Advertising opportunity letters are sent out in November with a deadline of mid-late December and again in May with a deadline of mid–late June. Placement and Content Ad placement within the Active Living Guide is at the discretion of the City of Prince George. Ads are accepted on a first come first serve basis. Ad space is limited and the City of Prince George cannot guarantee acceptance of an advertisement or its location.
