DEVELOPMENT SERVICES<br />
<strong>Fees</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Charges</strong> for Soil Removal <strong>and</strong> Deposit<br />
EFFECTIVE: JANUARY 1, 2014 AMENDED BY BYLAW NO. 8533, 2013<br />
FEES<br />
1. The application fee for a Permit is:<br />
(a) $1,000.00 for an application which indicates that less than 250,000 cubic metres <strong>of</strong> Soil is planned to be Removed or<br />
Deposited; or<br />
(b) $1,500.00 for an application which indicates that more than 250,000 cubic metres <strong>of</strong> Soil is planned to be Removed or<br />
Deposited.<br />
2. The application fee for a Short Term Permit is $500.00<br />
3. The application fee for the transfer <strong>of</strong> a Permit or Short Term Permit is $250.00<br />
4. The fee for the annual Permit review for all permits <strong>and</strong> amended plans is $200.00<br />
5. The application fee for the designation <strong>of</strong> L<strong>and</strong> as a Designated Soil Removal or Deposit Area is $800.00 plus $900.00 Notification<br />
Fee<br />
There are no fees required when the applicant for a Permit, Short Term Permit, or Permit renewal is the<br />
<strong>City</strong>.<br />
PENALTIES<br />
1. The annual Permit review report not received as per 10.2 <strong>of</strong> the Soil Removal <strong>and</strong> Deposit <strong>Bylaw</strong> is subject to a $250.00 penalty
