<strong>RT120Q</strong> Operator’s <strong>Manual</strong><br />
10 Hour<br />
Check Digging Chain Teeth and Bits<br />
Check teeth (1) for wear every 10 hours. Replace<br />
worn teeth, using <strong>Ditch</strong> <strong>Witch</strong> replacement parts<br />
and maintaining original tooth pattern.<br />
For more efficient digging, contact your <strong>Ditch</strong><br />
<strong>Witch</strong> dealer for information about the tooth<br />
pattern best suited to your jobsite.<br />
If using rock chain bits, check that bits rotate<br />
freely. Clean chain and check bits after each use.<br />
Replace bit when carbide cap or insert is worn or<br />
adapter can be damaged.<br />
Check chain every 10 hours. Replace worn or<br />
broken chains. If sidebars (2) are bent or loose<br />
on chain pins (3), chain spacers should be used<br />
to join sidebars.<br />
Check Boom Mounting Bolts<br />
Check 14 bolts (7 on each side) every 10 hours<br />
and tighten as necessary to keep bolts and other<br />
fasteners tight. Check for looseness or wear.<br />
Check that bolts are tightened to 250 ft•lb (28<br />
N•m).
