Financial Aid<br />

Adult learners accepted into the adult studies program may apply for financial aid in the form of<br />

federal and state assistance. More information about financial aid is available through our financial<br />

aid department and in the adult studies program handbook.<br />

Admissions Criteria<br />

To be considered for the Adult Studies Business Program, an adult learner must meet the<br />

following criteria:<br />

1. Age of 23 or older at the time of the first program module<br />

2. Completion of 45 or more hours of credit from an accredited college or post-secondary<br />

institution. Note: <strong>Trinity</strong> does not award academic college credit for life experience.<br />

3. Cumulative grade-point average of 2.0 or better on a 4.0 scale<br />

Degree Requirements<br />

The following requirements must be fulfilled to earn the bachelor of science degree in business<br />

through the Adult Studies Business Program:<br />

1. Complete all coursework in adult studies business, including the comprehensive senior capstone<br />

assessment and the major field test in business.<br />

ABUS 301, 302, 303, 304, 305, 306, 307, 308, 310, 311, 313, 314, 316, 317, 416.<br />

Note: Adult learners meet the general education requirements for oral communication by<br />

completing ABUS 301, Professional Communication. The field education and capstone<br />

requirements are met by completing ABUS 416, Comprehensive Senior Capstone Assessment.<br />

2. Accumulate a minimum of 120 semester hours of credit that are officially accepted by the<br />

<strong>Trinity</strong> <strong>Christian</strong> <strong>College</strong> registrar’s office.<br />

3. Have a cumulative grade-point average of 2.0 (4.0 scale) or above in the 120 semester hours of<br />

credit comprising the degree program.<br />
