Thus the Egyptians were Dip'd and Drowned in the Red Sea, Thus the Lord Jefus Chrift fh all come down from Heaven, to render Vengeance on his Adverfaries ; cloathed with Garments Dip'd in blood, Rev, 19.13. [_ Here Mr. Chandler hath rendered that word Dip'd to inveigh and ridicule our RraEiice of Dipping, although he coMobjeEi againft it when Igave it for aninfiance'] But he goes on, faying. You find ftiil Dipping reprefents in Scripture God s Vengeance and Difpleafure.
