Years ; and did inveigh againft their manner of Praftice, with<br />

began to triumph over the Baptrfts, and boafted, that what<br />

Mr. Chandler had faid upon that Point, was unanfwerable.<br />

Whereupon, when this laft Sermon was to be Preached,<br />

As touching Dr. l^tiffel, his being ingaged in it, it did not<br />

arife from any defirein h<strong>im</strong>felf to be concerned in it; buc<br />

from the preffing Importu^ty of his Friends.<br />

more particularly concerned (as the thing was cicumftanced)<br />

and fuppofing that all this Stir and Noife was chiefly d^figned<br />
