As a 30+-year resident of
Battery Park City, I could not
fathom the North Cove Marina
being operated by anyone other
than yourself and the fine
organization that you have built
over the past twenty years. The
talented and energetic team
that you have put together and
cultivated all share your vision
and passion for the expansion of
the use of the marina and the
Hudson River in general. I
applaud all that you have
accomplished, and look forward
to many, many more years of
your stewardship of the North
Cove Marina.

The initial concept behind the floating clubhouse was to make it possible
for people to watch the sailboat races. The club has a very active series
of races but because they happen in the harbor near Ellis Island, no one
could see the excitement. The floating clubhouse made it possible for
spectators to watch the action. And it has been a huge success ever
since!
Today, the clubhouse operates at full capacity of 149 passengers almost
every day from May until October. Lots of corporations have their
summer office parties on board. The clubhouse has hosted weddings,
birthdays and many other special events. The signature event each
month is the Full Moon Party because it has the best view of the moon
rising up over Brooklyn.
The clubhouse is anchored on station in the harbor from May through
October. Guests reach the clubhouse by riding out on “Admiral’s
Launch,” a 40-foot former US Navy boat. The clubhouse is open from
Tuesday through Saturday.
