The Save Our Seaport
organization wishes to endorse
your bid to continue your
occupancy of the North Cove
Basin, and to continue to
provide services to the public
there. Your operations at North
Cove have struck an excellent
balance between public access
and the utility of a large-vessel
harbor. Your small and nimble
group maintains the flexibility to
respond to the needs of the
community far more efficiently
than any mega-corporate
facility.
- Save Our Seaport Steering
Committee
This is just one more example of the diverse programming that NCMM
brings to the Battery Park City community. We do this not because we
were asked. We envisioned and created these ideas ourselves. They did
not exist before us. NCMM does this because we care about the
community. We have the skill and ability to see what can be done and
how the marina can connect with the people who live and work nearby.
Not only have we created this and many other programs, but we have
implemented them in a successful and sustainable manner.
