Panorama Mumbaija će 2010. godine
biti bogatija za jedinstvenu zgradu.
India Tower bit će visok 301 metar, a
u njemu će se naći hotel Park Hyatt,
luksuzni stanovi i mnoštvo sadržaja
namijenjenih ponajviše trošenju –
restorani, barovi, skupe prodavaonice...
Zanimljivo je pritom da će se tri
odvojene funkcije – stambena, hotelska
i poslovna – odvojiti i arhitektonski
kroz tri dijela nebodera koji
će se rotirati pod kutem. Rotirajući će
neboder imati i cijeli niz inovativnih
metoda za očuvanje energije, poput
solarne zaštite, prirodne ventilacije,
prikupljanja kišnice i korištenja “zelenih”
materijala u gradnji.

The Green
Indian Skyscraper
Mumbai’s panorama will be richer for one unique building
by 2010. The India Tower will be 301 metres high,
and it will feature the Park Hyatt Hotel, luxurious apartments
and plenty of features that are dedicated to consumption
– restaurants, bars, expensive shops… What’s
interesting is the fact that the three separate functions
– residential, hotel and business – will also be architecturally
separated through three sections of the skyscraper
that will rotate themselves under a certain angle. The
rotating skyscraper will also feature a whole string of innovative
methods for energy preservation, such as solar
protection, natural ventilation, collecting rainwater and
using “green” materials in construction.
Filharmonija sutrašnjice
u Parizu
Prepoznatljiv autorski rukopis Jeana Nouvela od 2012. bit će neraskidivo
vezan i uz Parišku filharmoniju. Novi hram glazbe u Parizu
obuhvaćat će 20.000 četvornih metara, s 2400 mjesta, i bit će ponajprije
posvećen simfonijskoj glazbi, no golema i, stručnjaci tvrde,
akustički savršena dvorana, moći će ugostiti i jazz ili druge glazbene
izvedbe. Djelo Jeana Nouvela pobjeglo je od standardnog frontalnog
modela te će glazbenici biti okruženi sa svih strana, čime će
se postići veća intimnost između izvođača i publike.
Kućica za samce
Poljski arhitektonski studio Front Architects osmislio je Single
Hauz, projekt izgledom najviše nalik na kućicu za ptice, čija se inovativnost
ogleda u činjenici da ga je moguće posaditi doista – bilo
gdje. Tražeći idealni dizajn kuće, autori su bili zagolicani izgledom
billboarda, ali i socijalnom činjenicom o sve više “single” kućanstava,
pa je njihov dom svojim minijaturnim dimenzijama doista prilagođen
životu samo jedne osobe.

The Philharmonics
of Tomorrow in Paris
Jean Nouvel’s recognisable author’s stamp will be irreversibly
connected to the Paris Philharmonics by 2012. The new temple
of music in Paris will spread across 20.000 square metres, featuring
2400 seats, and will primarily be dedicated to symphony
music; however, the enormous and, according to experts,
acoustically perfect hall will also be able to host jazz and various
other musical performances. Jean Nouvel’s work has escaped
from the standard frontal model and the musicians will be surrounded
from all sides, which will accomplish a larger degree of
intimacy between the performers and the audience.
A Small House for Single People
Polish architectonic studio Front Architects has designed Single
Hauz, which is a project that mostly resembles a birdhouse, and
the innovation of which is reflected in the fact that it is possible to
plant it – just about anywhere. While searching for the ideal house
design, the authors were intrigued by the billboard look, but also
by the social fact that there is an increasing number of “single”
households, so their home with its miniature dimensions is truly
adjusted to a life of one single person.
