Neodoljivo,
zar ne
A Little House for
Umbrellas and Flowers
Designers like to play around with umbrellas
and their functions and looks. After the
self-standing umbrella we presented in
the last issue, this rack from the Japanese
workshop Kyouei Design has a double
function: it holds the umbrella and it directs
the remainder of its water into a small pot
for plants, which is the integral part of the
rack. Irresistible, isn’t it
Buduænost kakvom
je vidi Gorenje
Gorenje sve hrabrije kroči u svijet visokog dizajna.
Nakon suradnje s Pininfarinom, slovenski je proizvođač
dao priliku jednome od mladih dizajnera,
Francuzu Ora-Ïtou, a iz
zajedničkoga rada nastao
je set nevjerojatno stylish
kućanskih uređaja čistih minimalističkih
linija, u crnoj i
boji aluminija. Tvorac ekskluzivne
serije naziva svoj stil
“simplexity” - kombinacijom
jednostavnosti i kompleksnosti,
a oboje je vidljivo na
novim napama, hladnjacima,
pećnicama s potpisom
Gorenje Ora-Ïto. Početkom
rujna u zagrebačkome muzeju
Mimara i hrvatskoj je
publici predstavljena ova
serija, uz svesrdnu asistenciju
futurističke kubusne kuhinje
od naprednog kompozitnog materijala (također
djelo Ora-Ïtoa), zaobljenih linija, idealne družice
za najmodernije uređaje s logotipom Gorenja.
Boce za sve
Ove vesele i praktične boce dolaze
iz poznate danske dizajnerske
“kuhinje” Eva Solo. Dizajneri Claus
Jensen i Henrik Holbaek odlučili su
stati na kraj nepraktičnim bocama
koje ne stanu u vrata hladnjaka
ili se kroz njihova grla ne
mogu ubaciti, primjerice, kockice
leda ili kriške limuna. A tu je
i presvlaka u živim bojama koja
ne samo da uveseljava svakoga
tko otvori hladnjak nego i
služi kao termoizolacija, kako se
vaš sok ne bi prerano ugrijao.
The Future According
to Gorenje
Gorenje has more courage in stepping into the
world of high design. After cooperating with Pininfarina,
the Slovenian
manufacturer has given
a chance to one of
the young designers ,
the Frenchman Ora-
Ito, and their joint work
has resulted in a set of
incredibly stylish household
appliances with
pure minimalist lines,
coloured in black and
aluminium. The creator
of this exclusive series
refers to his style as
“simplexity” – a combination
of simplicity and
complexity, and both
of those are visible on
new cooker hoods, refrigerators and ovens that carry
the name Gorenje Ora-Ito. This series was presented
to the Croatian audience in early September in the
Mimara Museum in Zagreb, with plenty of assistance
from a futuristic cubic kitchen made from advanced
composite materials (also courtesy of Ora-Ito) and
featuring rounded lines, making for simply an ideal
mate for the most modern appliances with the
Gorenje logotype.
Bottles for Everyone
These merry and practical bottles come from the famous Danish designer
“kitchen” Eva Solo. Designers Claus Jensen and Henrik Holbaek
have decided to put an end to unpractical bottles that don’t fit into
refrigerator doors or can’t have, for instance, ice cubes or lemon slices
put into their necks. And they also have bright-coloured coverings that
are bound to improve the mood of anyone who opens the fridge,
while they also serve as thermo-isolation that prevents your juice from
becoming warm too soon.
