2.2.3.39 DeepTraversal<br />

The DeepTraversal element is an optional child element of the Options element in Search<br />

command requests that indicates that the client wants the server to search all subfolders for the<br />

folders that are specified in the query.<br />

All elements referenced in this section are defined in the Search namespace.<br />

The result of including more than one DeepTraversal element in a Search command request is<br />

undefined. The server MAY return a protocol status error in response to such a command request.<br />

The DeepTraversal element is an empty tag element, meaning it has no value or data type. It is<br />

distinguished only by the presence or absence of the tag.<br />

If the DeepTraversal element is not present, the subfolders are not searched.<br />

2.2.3.40 Delete<br />

The Delete element is used in the following command requests and responses:<br />

•FolderSync command responses (section 2.2.2.4.2)<br />

•Sync command requests (section 2.2.2.19.1) and responses (section 2.2.2.19.2)<br />

The definition of the Delete element differs according to the context in which it is used. For more<br />

details, see section 2.2.3.40.1 and section 2.2.3.40.2.<br />

2.2.3.40.1 Delete (FolderSync)<br />

The Delete element is an optional child element of the Changes element in FolderSync command<br />

responses that specifies that a folder on the server was deleted since the last folder synchronization.<br />

All elements referenced in this section are defined in the FolderHierarchy namespace.<br />
