Knowledge of the user's language facilitates localization if the server is required to send localizable<br />

content to the client device. The OS element value can be up to 1024 characters in length. The<br />

server does not validate the value of the OSLanguage element.<br />

2.2.3.110 ParentId<br />

The ParentId element is used in the following command requests and responses:<br />

•FolderCreate command requests (section 2.2.2.2.1)<br />

•FolderSync command responses (section 2.2.2.4.2)<br />

•FolderUpdate command requests (section 2.2.2.5.1)<br />

The definition of the ParentId element differs according to the context in which it is used. For more<br />

details, see section 2.2.3.110.1, section 2.2.3.110.2, and section 2.2.3.110.3.<br />

2.2.3.110.1 ParentId (FolderCreate)<br />

The ParentId element is a required child element of the FolderCreate element in FolderCreate<br />

command requests that specifies the server ID of the parent folder. The server ID of the parent<br />

folder is obtained from the ServerId element (section 2.2.3.141.3) of a previous FolderSync<br />

command (section 2.2.2.4). A parent ID of 0 (zero) signifies the mailbox root folder. The ParentId<br />

element value can be up to 64 characters in length.<br />
