2.2.2.5 FolderUpdate<br />

The FolderUpdate command moves a folder from one location to another on the server. The<br />

command is also used to rename a folder.<br />

The FolderUpdate command cannot be used to update a recipient information cache, or to move a<br />

folder under the recipient information cache. Attempting to update a recipient information cache<br />

using this command results in a Status element (section 2.2.3.152.5) value of 3.<br />

The FolderHierarchy namespace is the primary namespace for this section. Elements referenced in<br />

this section that are not defined in the FolderHierarchy namespace use the namespace prefixes<br />

defined in section 2.2.1.<br />
